The Story
A career spent in rooms where a great deal is at stake
Bimpe Bakare has spent more than eighteen years working at the sharp end of commercial law, infrastructure and international dispute resolution. She has structured, negotiated and delivered complex, high-value projects across energy, construction, financial services and public infrastructure.
Along the way she learned something that changed the direction of her work. Most disputes are not really about the contract. They are about interests that were never spoken, relationships that were never repaired, and people who were never truly heard.
That understanding now shapes everything she does. As a mediator, she creates conditions where parties can speak plainly and still find a workable resolution. As a coach, she sits with leaders and professionals in the middle of transition, burnout, grief and reinvention. On the stage, she speaks with the authority of someone who has sat across the table in the hardest negotiations, and the vulnerability of someone who has written honestly about what that life costs.
Her debut memoir, Fragments: Pieces of Me, is the most personal expression of that work.
